"A Night with the Knights" 

After a two-year hiatus, Mount Carmel School is excited to bring back its annual AlumKnight gala, "A Night with the Knights" on February 04, 2023, at the World Resort Taga Hall. AlumKnights are invited to celebrate with the school community 70 YEARS of faith, excellence, and success. 

Join us for a night to share memories, have fun, dance, and have a chance to win many exciting raffle and silent auction prizes.

Tickets are $70.00 and the event will be from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. 

Theme

In true 70s fashion, we invite all participants to dress to impress with a throwback to the classic 70s. 

The “Night with the Knights” event is a special occasion for all Knights and AlumKnights of Mount Carmel School. Through the school’s dedication to faith, service, excellence, and success, the “Night with the Knights” event is aimed to recognize outstanding individuals who continue to embody and exemplify the best of our school’s community. Awards to be announced at this year’s celebration include:

ALUMKNIGHT OF THE YEAR AWARD CRITERIA

Mount Carmel School (MCS) continues to recognize person(s) who have previously attended Mount Carmel School and who have made a big positive impact in our community and/or beyond our shores.    

Nominations for this prestigious award are accepted for any AlumKnight. The criteria to be considered for AlumKnight of the Year include:
 

• Nominee must have attended MCS for at least one full school year
• Awardees who have previously been selected previously will not be eligible for nomination in subsequent years. Previously awarded AlumKnights of the Year include:

CLASS OF THE YEAR AWARD CRITERIA

Much like our AlumKnight of the Year award, the Class of the Year award recognizes 1 or more classes who have made a big positive impact in our community and/or beyond our shores.
Nominations for this prestigious award are accepted for any AlumKnight Class. The criteria to be considered for Class of the Year include the following:

• The awardees must be an AlumKnight class of Mount Carmel School, Saipan.
• List of accomplishments for the previous calendar year of the nominated class.
• AlumKnight classes that have been previously awarded the “Class of the Year” are still eligible for nomination
• All written nominations can be submitted through either the following:

PARENT OF THE YEAR AWARD CRITERIA

The Parent of the Year Award seeks to recognize a parent(s)/caregiver(s) who have made a significant impact and contribution to the success of their student(s) and school life at Mount Carmel School. 

The criteria for the Parent of the Year Award include: 

• Must be a current parent or caregiver of a Mount Carmel School student
• List of contributions to the school community and/or local community
• Brief testament to the character and service of the parent
• Parents who have been previously awarded the “Parent of the Year” are still eligible for nomination
• No member of the Selection Panel may be eligible for nomination while serving on the panel.
• No posthumous awards will be made.

The selection committee will also take into consideration the nominee's contribution to civic organizations, the welfare of the community, and a chosen field or profession.

The Parent of the Year Award does not discriminate against non-traditional households and all recommendations are accepted.

MILLENNIAL FALCON OF THE YEAR AWARD CRITERIA

The Millennial Falcon of the Year Award seeks to recognize an AlumKnight between the graduating years of 1999 to 2022 who has made a big positive impact in our community and/or beyond our shores.    

Nominations for this prestigious award are accepted for any AlumKnight. The criteria to be considered for Millennial Falcon of the Year include:

• Must be an MCS graduate between the Class of 1999 to the Class of 2022
• A provided list of accomplishments of the Nominee
• Awardees who have previously been selected previously will not be eligible for nomination in subsequent years. Previously awarded Millennial Falcons of the Year include:
  • 2005 AlumKnight, business leader, Robert Travilla
  • 2005 AlumKnight, educational leader, Jacqueline Che
  • 2011 AlumKnight, public administrator, Kevin Bautista
• No member of the Selection Panel may be eligible for nomination while serving on the panel.

The Legacy Teacher of the Year Award seeks to recognize a current or former teacher of Mount Carmel School who has made a significant and positive impact in the community and the lives of the Knights they've educated. 

Nominations for this prestigious award are accepted for any current or former educator of Mount Carmel School. The criteria to be considered for the Legacy Teacher of the Year include:

• Must have taught at Mount Carmel School for at least five years
• A provided list of accomplishments of the Nominee
• No member of the Selection Panel may be eligible for nomination while serving on the panel.
• No posthumous awards will be made.
• All written nominations can be submitted through either the following:
